Welcome,
I am So Grateful You’re Here.
I Know What It Feels Like to Be the One Holding Everything Together.
Most high-performing professionals don’t struggle because they lack skill, resilience, or commitment.
They struggle because no one ever taught them how to stop carrying what they experience.
Why This Work Matters
The longer you spend caring for others, leading through pressure, supporting people through crisis, or making decisions that affect lives, the easier it becomes to carry emotional weight that was never meant to stay with you.
I understand that world because I've lived it.
Professional Background
I’m Cindi DuMond, RN, a Certified Adult Chair® Master Coach, former Funeral Director, entrepreneur, and creator of The Executive Emotional Offload System.
For more than 30 years, people have trusted me during some of the most difficult moments of their lives.
As a high-acuity pediatric nurse, I cared for medically fragile children and supported families through uncertainty, crisis, and life-changing diagnoses.
As a licensed funeral director, I walked alongside families navigating profound grief and loss.
As a business owner, I’ve experienced firsthand the pressures of leadership, responsibility, and making critical decisions when others depend on you.
“While the settings changed, one thing never did: I remained the person people trusted when life felt overwhelming.”
The Pattern I Saw:
The people who care for everyone else are often the ones receiving the least support themselves.
Throughout those experiences, one truth became impossible to ignore:
They stay composed.
They keep functioning.
They keep showing up.
Yet many quietly carry the emotional residue of what they witness, manage, and absorb every day.
Personal Understanding
My understanding of emotional resilience isn’t based solely on professional experience.
Like many of the people I work with, I’ve navigated profound personal challenges, including supporting my daughter through a life-altering traumatic brain injury and rebuilding through significant life transitions that tested everything I thought I knew about resilience.
Those experiences reinforced what I now teach:
The goal isn’t to become someone new.
The goal is to learn how to care deeply without carrying it all.
What I Do Today
Today, I help high-performing professionals recognize emotional overload, regulate their nervous systems, offload or release emotional weight, and integrate a more sustainable way of leading and living.
Through The Executive Emotional Offload System, I combine the Adult Chair® Model, nervous system regulation, emotional resilience strategies using neuroscience, and decades of real-world experience helping people navigate life’s most demanding seasons.
Families trusted me with their children.
Clients trusted me with their loved ones during some of the hardest days of their lives.
That trust is something I have never taken lightly.
If people trusted me with what mattered most to them, you can trust me to help you navigate what matters most to you.
The Adult Chair® Model
This powerful emotional framework helps people understand three internal parts:
• The wounded child
• The adaptive protector
• The healthy adult
When you learn to operate from your “healthy adult,” emotional triggers lose their power.
This therapeutic model is used all over the world and I earned a Master Certification in it.
You don’t have to keep carrying it all.
There is another way forward—one grounded in clarity, steadiness, and the ability to care deeply without carrying it home.
