Welcome
I’m so grateful you’re here!
MY STORY
As a high-acuity pediatric nurse, I cared for some of the most medically fragile children and supported families through some of life's most difficult moments. As a funeral director, I walked alongside families navigating profound grief and loss. And as a business owner for more than three decades, I've experienced firsthand the pressures of leadership, responsibility, and making decisions when others depend on you. Throughout my career, one truth became impossible to ignore: The people who care for everyone else are often the ones receiving the least support themselves.
I understand that world because I've lived it.

“Healing isn’t about becoming someone new — it’s about returning to yourself with greater wisdom, strength, and compassion.”
My understanding of grief, resilience, and emotional recovery isn't limited to professional experience. Like many of the people I serve, I've navigated profound personal loss, unexpected life transitions, and seasons that required me to rebuild from the inside out.
My personal journey includes supporting my daughter through a life-altering traumatic brain injury and navigating significant life transitions that tested everything I thought I knew about resilience.
After my 23-year marriage ended in divorce, I suddenly found myself navigating grief that wasn't just about death — but about identity, loss of dreams, and the life I thought I would have. That experience changed the direction of my work forever.

Grief, trauma, and life transitions can leave even the strongest people feeling disconnected from themselves.
I help caregivers, high-achievers, and professionals regulate their nervous systems, process grief, and rebuild identity after loss using neuroscience-backed emotional tools.
I am Cindi DuMond, RN. A certified Adult Chair® Master Coach for Healthcare Professionals - Compassion Fatigue & Emotional Regulation
My turning point
After my 23-year marriage ended in divorce, my life changed overnight.
Not long after, my daughter became seriously ill and eventually disabled.
I suddenly found myself navigating grief that wasn’t just about death, but about identity, loss of dreams, and the life I thought I would have.
That experience changed the direction of my work forever
I work best with people who:
• Are the strong one for everyone else
• Feel emotionally exhausted but keep pushing through
• Are navigating grief, loss, divorce, illness, or identity shifts
• Want practical tools to regulate emotions and move forward
Why I Do This Work
For years I watched people suffer in silence—grieving losses they felt they had to hide.
Grief is not weakness.
It’s a signal that something meaningful mattered.
My mission is to help people process those emotions safely so they can move forward with strength, clarity, and self-trust.
The Adult Chair® Model
This powerful emotional framework helps people understand three internal parts:
• The wounded child
• The adaptive protector
• The healthy adult
When you learn to operate from your “healthy adult,” emotional triggers lose their power.
This is the foundation of the work I guide clients through.
